The Office

The company Velíšek & Podpěra – advokátní kancelář s.r.o., a limited liability company, (hereinafter the “law office”) has been operating in the market of legal services since 1 January 2006 (in the period until 30 September 2006, in form of a “v.o.s.”, a co-partnership). In the course of its activities up to now, the law office has built up a reputable position, which is reflected, in particular, by its membership in the international network of law offices CICERO™.

In consideration of the number and expertise of its lawyers, the law office is able to provide complex legal services. In so doing, all the legal services may be provided by it not only in the Czech, but also in the English and German languages, and/or, if need be, in the Russian language. Using such language proficiency, the law office has represented successfully some of its clients in international arbitration proceedings, too.

In its activities, the law office prefers a face-to-face approach to the client as a necessary precondition for a successful cooperation. Thanks to this, the law office has been continually and rapidly developing, its numerous clients being, among others, prestigious companies and financial groups operating in the Czech Republic, including some banking institutions. In addition, the law office is experienced, as well, in legal counselling in the implementation of investment plans of important Czech enterprises abroad.

The law office has been cooperating closely with distinguished, experienced tax advisors and experts/appraisers. On the basis of such cooperation, the law office is able to provide for its clients necessary expert opinions, the elaboration of which is often required by applicable legal regulations. Furthermore, the law office is at the same time able to consider, in the implementation of client transactions, tax aspects of such transactions, too, and thus to provide an integrated legal and tax consulting.
